Introducing Framemarks, and our blog.
Welcome to the official Framemarks blog! We're excited to share insights, tips, and updates on Framemarks and the process of fight the slow death of our attention span :D
Framemarks is a tool that helps you summarize long Youtube videos into a short readable article. Our main focus is not to replace the video, but to help you get the most out of it.
We believe that video content is great. Long video content is even greater. But we also understand that nobody has time to watch a 40 minute video. So we decided to build Framemarks to help get us through those videos faster. And perhaps after reading our summaries, you might be even more intrigued to watch the original video!
Its simple, really. It started as a simple idea to auto-generate notes whilst watching System Design videos by Hello Interview. We hated the process of watching video, typing notes, and then pausing the video to take screenshots.
We also learnt that Hello Interview had great notes on their website for every video, but it wasn't in a export-friendly format. However, it contained powerful visual information via images to further enhance the notes.
We thought, that's a pretty good idea for video notes. Why not do it for every video?
We're still in the early stages of development, but just the process of building Framemarks has been a lot of fun. We have some ideas in mind, but we're not sure what the future holds.
Follow our blog for the latest updates, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions or suggestions for future content.
